Fiberglass Weft Unidirectional Fabric
Fiberglass Weft Unidirectional is made of one layer input roving that is mainly laid down at 90º angle (transverse direction). There is minor stitch on 0º directional. It could also be stitched with chopped mat 150g – 450g/m². This type of Unidirectional is also called T, or unidirectional fabric. Weft Uni is ideal for filament winding application for pipes and tanks production.

Hot melt Weft Unidirectional is knitted set fabric. The weft is bound with polyester yarn, hot-melt yarn or fiberglass yarn to achieve fixed knit under high temperature.

Application:
Fiberglass Weft Unidirectional is used in filament winding process for FRP pipe and tank production. Weft UD is suitable for polyester resin, vinyl resin, epoxy resin and phenolic resin.

It could be stitched with backing mat or PET veil.
