Introduction

Adhesive Fiberglass Mesh Tape is fiberglass mesh coated with acrylic which is self-adhesive. It's ideal to amend drywall cracks, hide joints, make plates, prevent wall crack, repair ceiling crack, etc.

Specification

How to use the fiberglass self-adhesive tape?

We recommend the following steps:

Step 1: process the wall to be clean and dry;

Step 2: apply the tape over the crack or joint and press firm to make sure it’s cover.

Step 3: Make sure the tape cover the joint or crack completely. Then use knife to cut or wipe off the self-adhesive tape. And then apply the first coat of compound over the mesh tape.

Step 4: Let the working area dry completely, and sand it or polish it slightly.

Step 5: Apply sufficient thin finish coats to achieve a smooth wall surface.

Step 6: check the compound penetration of the joints. If there is slight buildup compound, and more compounds on the edge feathering to make sure all cracks are repaired.
